Cascadia Capital, LLC, an independent investment bank serving middle-market clients globally, is pleased to announce that it served as co-advisor to Audax Private Equity (“Audax”) on the sale of Enviromatic Systems (“Enviromatic”) to Wind Point Partners (“Wind Point”). Wind Point acquired the company on December 8, 2025. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Grand Prairie, Texas, with more than 275 employees, Enviromatic is a leading provider of mission-critical building management systems and facility control solutions. The company specializes in the design, engineering, integration, and installation of building automation and controls as well as ongoing maintenance services. The company’s offerings focus on mechanical and electrical energy-efficiency applications, enabling cohesively connected facility operating systems across the municipal, university, school, and healthcare end markets (“MUSH” markets).

Audax originally invested in Enviromatic through its lower middle market origins strategy in July 2023. During its hold period, Audax invested in the buildout of Enviromatic’s leadership team and operational infrastructure while pursuing organic growth initiatives and executing a disciplined M&A strategy to expand into new geographies, add adjacent service offerings, and establish new OEM relationships. Enviromatic completed two add-on acquisitions under Audax ownership and achieved strong top and bottom-line growth.

“Enviromatic Systems is an established provider of building management systems and automation controls solutions,” said Cascadia Capital. “The company’s partnership with Wind Point represents a strong opportunity to capitalize on the significant growth potential and the platform of opportunities that Enviromatic and Audax have developed together over the past three years. We are proud to have served as an advisor to Audax and Enviromatic in this important milestone and to help bring together two partners with a shared vision for long-term value creation.”

“Building automation is now a need-to-have category, and successful businesses combine design and engineering with installation and maintenance. This creates a comprehensive and complementary suite of services, based on technology, that supports the life cycle of a system,” added Firdaus Pohowalla, Managing Director at Cascadia Capital. “Enviromatic is an example of how these capabilities can be integrated into one platform, and we look forward to its continued growth.”

“This transaction highlights the steady pace of sponsor-to-sponsor activity in the lower middle market,” said Scott Ames, Head of Cascadia’s Financial Sponsors Group. “Well-positioned assets with strong management teams and specialized service offerings continue to transact, particularly in sectors with durable demand drivers like building automation and energy efficiency.”
