Tim Lufkin is a Managing Director in Cascadia’s Financial Sponsors Group who works across all the firm’s industry and product groups to help manage and grow relationships with private equity clients. Tim is a seasoned investment banking professional working with middle market private equity firms and brings more than 25 years advising clients on M&A and strategic advisory assignments, including divestitures, financings, and capital raising.

Mr. Lufkin most recently worked at Rothschild & Co as a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group in the New York office. Previously, Tim was a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group with BB&T Capital Markets (now Truist Securities). Additionally, Mr. Lufkin worked at American Capital Ltd. where he was a Managing Director in the firm’s Sponsor Finance Group originating Unitranche and 2nd Lien Debt for private equity clients. Tim has also worked at Cowen Inc., Morgan Joseph TriArtisan LLC and Legacy Partners Group LLC (now FBR Capital Markets). As a Managing Director at Cascadia Capital, Ilya Seglin is focused on client relationships in the Beauty & Personal Care sectors. In this role, he advises companies on sell-side and buy-side transactions as well as leading growth capital raises for emerging brands.

Prior to joining the Cascadia Capital team, Ilya spent nine years as a Managing Director at Threadstone Capital, a boutique M&A advisory firm focused exclusively on the consumer industry. Prior to Threadstone, he operated a consulting practice focusing on the beauty, apparel and accessories sectors and was engaged by such clients as The Estée Lauder Companies.

Ilya began his investment banking career at Credit Suisse, where he worked with clients across the retail and consumer landscape to develop and execute M&A strategy, raise debt and equity financing, and address capital structure issues. He executed transactions for companies including The Neiman Marcus Group, PETCO Animal Supplies, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, and WhiteWave Foods, among others. Before transitioning to investment banking, Ilya spent several years as an analyst evaluating industry trends and assessing companies in the retail, leisure, and transportation industries. His experience included working on Dana Telsey’s #1 ranked All-America Research team at Bear Stearns and covering the luxury goods sector. Billy Susman most recently was the founder of Threadstone Capital a New York based boutique investment bank focused on the consumer and retail sectors. Threadstone Capital closed $5.0 billon in transaction value since inception in 2011. Previously he has worked at Salomon Brothers, Merrill Lynch and served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Financo.

Over nearly 30 years of advising clients, Mr. Susman has completed transactions for Collective Brands, Jones, Kellwood, Li & Fung, Nike, Nordstrom’s, Pacific Sunwear, Spencer’s Holdings and Wolverine. Lindsey oversees Human Resources at Cascadia. She is responsible for partnering with management on institutionalizing our human capital processes, driving growth initiatives for our employees, attracting best in class talent, and supporting the continued success of our business.

Lindsey joined Cascadia from Elliott Investment Management where she led the U.S. recruiting practice and served as a Human Resources Business Partner. Prior to joining Elliott, Lindsey was a Human Capital Manager at ExodusPoint where she supported the buildout of the HR function for the newly launched hedge fund. She previously served as a Senior HRBP on the Global Fixed Income team at Morgan Stanley. Lindsey spent the first 7 years of her HR career as a Generalist at Soros Fund Management.

Ron Rivera is Managing Director in Cascadia Capital’s Technology/Software group and is based in Atlanta. Prior to joining Cascadia, Ron was a Partner with Drake Star Partners and previously served as Managing Director, Head of U.S. Technology, Media & Telecom Investment banking at Deloitte Corporate Finance LLC. Previously, Ron served in senior investment banking roles with nationally and internationally recognized investment banks.

Ron’s transaction experience includes over 30 years of investment banking and M&A advisory services to public and private clients, and investors within various sectors of the broad technology and software industries. Ron’s primary sector coverage focus includes enterprise software and related technology segments (“Software”) and Mobility/Automotive Technology & Services (“Mobility”). In addition, Ron has significant coverage experience in the areas of tech-enabled business services, internet/digital media, electronics, financial technology (including payments) and health care information technology & services (HCIT).

Over his career, Ron has led landmark Software and Mobility transactions with clients and counterparties including Accenture, Belkin, BlackBerry, Bose, Daimler, The Michelin Group, Nuance Communications, Oracle, Panasonic, Salesforce.com, Zones, Goldman Sachs, Bregal Sagemount, The Gores Group, Marlin Equity, and many other market-leading companies and private equity firms.

Carle Felton is a Managing Director and leads Cascadia’s Capital Markets Advisory practice. His primary focus is to source flexible debt and equity for Cascadia clients by utilizing relationships with lenders and investors to ensure certainty of execution on market-best terms.

Carle has over 15 years of experience working with private equity firms and family businesses. He understands the goals and challenges of companies in all stages of growth. Carle joined Cascadia from Goldman Sachs Private Credit and Hybrid Capital. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Carle served as a Director in Leveraged Finance at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (now Truist) and before that, Vice President Global Sponsor Finance at General Electric Capital Corporation (now Antares Capital).

Father of three, Carle Felton is a CFA Charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant, and earned a Masters in Accountancy from The University of Georgia.

With over 29 years of investment banking experience, Christian has closed over 150 transactions including buy and sell-side M&A, equity, and debt financing across the U.S. and globally in a wide variety of industries.
