Boyne USA, Inc., parent company of Boyne Resorts, Inc. (“Boyne”), sold Crystal Mountain, Inc., operator of Crystal Mountain Ski Resort (“Crystal”). Cascadia provided the fairness opinion to Boyne in connection with the transaction.
Boyne is one of the largest independent ski and golf resort owner / operators in the country, with twelve properties including Big Sky Resort in Montana, Brighton Ski Resort in Utah, and Crystal Mountain in Washington State.
On March 31st, 2017, Crystal was acquired by John Kircher. John oversaw the original acquisition of Crystal by Boyne in 1997 and has been CEO of Crystal ever since.
