  A:

  These are the guiding principals of my practice.  As a banker, one of the lessons I have learned is always putting yourself in the shoes of your client and understanding their perspective, whether that be as an entrepreneur, third generation owner or an experienced private equity partner. Equally important is understanding your counter-parties desires on a potential transaction.  From there it’s about bringing the two parties together to get the best outcome for our client, while also fulfilling the needs of the buyer or investor, to achieve optimal results for all.

  Winning for my clients and driving life-changing events.  The lifelong relationships and even friendship that comes from this are the fringe benefits.

  I am most passionate about creating value and achieving success for my clients, and making sure I am always preserving thought leadership in the sectors I cover.

   

Expertise

Kevin is a 25+ year investment banker with extensive experience in Mergers and Acquisition, as well as both private and public debt and equity capital raising.  He spent the first half of his career in bulge bracket investment banking where he learned best practices in the execution of both M&A and financing deals.  The second half of his career has been focused on middle market clients including many privately held businesses from 1^st  to 3^rd generation, as well as middle market private equity firms.  His industry-focused practice in the broader Advanced Manufacturing ecosystem has involved extensive advisory assignments that overlap into the Aerospace, Space and Defense market.  Kevin leads both practice areas at Cascadia Capital.

Kevin has been a featured speaker and moderator at industry conferences across the Advanced Manufacturing ecosystem and founded an industry conference in the sector at a previous firm which was held three years in a row.

Bio

Kevin Frisch is a Managing Director at Cascadia Capital with extensive advisory and financing experience over his 25+ year investment banking career.  Kevin leads both the Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace, Space & Defense Practices at Cascadia.  His expertise is marrying extensive industry knowledge and experience with creative finance and advisory solutions to give clients the best range of options to pursue and then execute on their behalf.

Kevin previously founded and led the Advanced Manufacturing & Supply Chain practice at Imperial Capital for approximately a decade.  Prior to this he covered Industrial Technology and Additive Manufacturing companies at FBR Capital Markets. He started his post-MBA career as a Mergers and Acquisitions specialist in Industrials at Lehman Brothers and was in that role for nearly 10 years.  Prior to business school, he worked at Oppenheimer & Co. and Chase Securities.

Kevin holds a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the Booth School at the University of Chicago.
