Cascadia Capital, an independent investment bank serving middle-market clients globally, is pleased to announce that its client Black Box Limited (“Black Box”) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of 2S Inovações Tecnológicas S/A (“2S”), a Brazil-based technology solutions integrator. The transaction is subject to customary consents and regulatory approvals, and Black Box and 2S expect to close the transaction by the end of the first quarter of calendar year 2026.
Black Box (BSE: 500463/NSE: BBOX) is a global leader in digital infrastructure solutions, delivering network and system integration, managed services, and technology products to Fortune 100 and top global enterprises. With a presence across the United States, Europe, India, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin America, Black Box serves businesses across financial services, technology, healthcare, retail, public services, and manufacturing.
Supported by a global team of around 3,600 professionals and strategic partnerships with leading technology providers, Black Box delivers end-to-end solutions in network integration, digital connectivity infrastructure, data center buildouts, modern workplace solutions, and cybersecurity. Its Technology Products portfolio enhances business operations with cutting edge solutions in AV, IoT, KVM, Networking, Infrastructure, and Cables.
The pending acquisition reinforces Black Box’s global growth plan focused on technology, innovation, and the continued expansion of its technological capabilities through the 2030 cycle, including its long-term objective of achieving approximately $2 billion in annual revenue. Within this strategy, Brazil plays a central role given the strength of its technology ecosystem, access to highly qualified talent, and its potential as a hub for the development of technology solutions for other global markets.
“This pending transaction reflects Black Box’s disciplined approach to advancing its global growth strategy through targeted investments in technology and innovation,” said Jordan Finkler, Managing Director at Cascadia Capital. “Brazil represents an important market within that strategy, and 2S is well positioned to serve as a core platform supporting Black Box’s medium- and long-term global objectives.”
From 2S’s perspective, becoming part of the Black Box group is expected to strengthen its operational capacity, financial robustness, and ability to deliver more comprehensive and innovative solutions to its clients and business partners. The transaction is intended to enhance 2S’s access to global technologies and best practices while preserving its entrepreneurial culture, technical expertise, and strong local relationships. Following the anticipated closing, there are no expected changes to 2S’s operations, management structure, or executive leadership team, ensuring continuity for clients, partners, and employees.
“Cascadia Capital was a trusted advisor to Black Box throughout this process,” said Sanjeev Verma, President and CEO of Black Box. “Their deep experience advising global technology services companies and their thoughtful, collaborative approach were instrumental as we executed this agreement and advanced our long-term strategy for growth, innovation, and global expansion.”
