- TouchDownTM provides a highly secure container that enables businesses in any industry to separate and partition corporate data from personal, supporting Bring Your Own Device (“BYOD”) programs

Situation
- NitroDesk was bootstrapped by Goutham Sukumar (Founder) and Ronald Goins (COO)
- The company had a mature email application, but lacked the financial resources and sales and marketing expertise necessary for scale
- Cascadia was engaged to help NitroDesk find a partner to provide liquidity for shareholders and help the Company capitalize on the opportunity to become the alternative mobile business email option for enterprises relying on BlackBerry
Our Specialized Approach
- Cascadia ran a focused process leveraging relevant relationships: in three strategic buyer categories: (i) mobile device management (MDM) software vendors, (ii) mobile device manufacturers, and (iii) wireless communication services providers
- NitroDesk was marketed to counterparties in a tailored way, with potential synergies customized for each strategic buyer category
- Symantec Corporation (NasdaqGS:SYMC), one of NitroDesk’s existing partners, was selected as the preferred acquirer and closed the transaction on a highly attractive set of terms and conditions
