I love solving problems, big or small, with creative solutions. I am driven to help people professionally, but also personally. I am team-oriented and motivated by our client-focused culture and Cascadia’s incredibly talented professionals.
My passion is learning about people, their businesses and their motivations, and connecting them with the right resources and opportunities to achieve their goals. My “ideal” day at work is taking a tour with a business owner, seeing their passion and hard work, and coming to understand their business, team and what makes them click. I love the feeling I get from being a business owner’s trusted advisor.
At Cascadia Capital, Katie works with each industry group to identify and connect with family-owned business in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. She has deep connections and relationships within the business community, having spent the last 16 years of her career specifically covering the Pacific Northwest for GE Capital and then Bank of America’s middle market commercial bank. With a career dedicated to building and maintaining relationships throughout the region, she is connected to a variety of Pacific Northwest companies that span multiple industries. She is passionate about helping business owners and entrepreneurs; finding ways to support them and offer guidance by connecting them to the resources available at Cascadia or within her broader network.
Katie Bellows is a Managing Director at Cascadia Capital, responsible for business development and new client origination. Her primary focus is to connect Cascadia’s industry and market expertise with the needs of business owners, entrepreneurs and family business leaders in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Prior to Cascadia, Katie was a Senior Vice President, Business Development Executive at Bank of America, based in Seattle. Her coverage area included the Pacific Northwest, where she was responsible for identifying prospective middle market clients, developing relationships with business owners and executives, and delivering the full range of Bank of America’s solutions, which included investment banking. Prior to Bank of America, she spent nine years at GE Capital, overseeing the Pacific Northwest. Katie was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and her relationships abound. Katie received a B.S. in Business Marketing from the University of Montana and is registered with FINRA, holding the Series 7 and 63 licenses.
