Cascadia Capital Opens Office in New York

Growing West Coast Investment Bank Expands Footprint

April 26, 2004 (NEW YORK, NY) -- Cascadia Capital, a national investment bank focused on serving emerging growth and middle market companies, announced today that it has opened an office in New York City. Cascadia Capital's presence in New York gives the firm the opportunity to be closer to the East Coast capital markets, allows the firm to better serve companies located in that region, and provides an optimal location from which to expand its healthcare platform.

Like its West Coast headquarters, Cascadia Capital's New York office located in Rockefeller Center will offer corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, strategic advisory services, and capital market services, with an emphasis on serving emerging growth and middle-market companies. In addition to leading the firm's healthcare practice, the New York office will continue Cascadia Capital's focus on Information Technology, Communications, Security & Defense, and Industrial & Consumer markets.

"The opening of our New York office represents the next milestone in our evolution as a national investment bank," said Michael Butler, Chairman and CEO of Cascadia Capital. "We've built a strong foundation and established a solid track record over the past few years. Expansion to New York is an important next step for us."

Cascadia Capital was founded with the goal of addressing the absence of investment banking services for emerging growth and middle market companies. Despite tough economic conditions, the firm has expanded aggressively, adding new practice areas and growing its client base to serve companies across the country. Since November 2002, Cascadia Capital has closed 23 transactions totaling more than $500 million.

"The caliber of the talent we've assembled for the New York office is top flight, and we will continue building out our New York presence in the coming months," said Kevin Cable, Executive Vice President of Cascadia Capital.

"Cascadia Capital has demonstrated remarkable momentum in the market, addressing the shortage of high quality corporate financing services for emerging growth and middle market companies. I'm looking forward to supporting the firm's continued success," said Paul Teitelbaum, Managing Director for Cascadia Capital.
